Hello all,
Thanks again to those of you who made it through another round! We were glad to have you on board.
As with the last time around, I’ve seen an influx of new people joining towards the end - so as a quick note to them (and everyone else), we’re going to start the Comedy again from the beginning on Good Friday 2025 - which, this year, isn’t until April 18. So we’ve got a good month-long break until then.
It had been my plan to ask the audience for suggestions on other works I could send out until then, but I’ve had medical issues come up since, and rest is critical for me right now. So I think I’ll shift gears, and instead encourage people to explore other works on their own time until then. Perhaps you have interest in some Shakespeare: https://shakespeare.mit.edu/
Or perhaps rifle through my recommendations for some other Substacks sending out classic literature. If you’re specifically in the mood for older works, the Public Domain Book Club is a great start. I’d also encourage you to make a virtual library card through Libby if that’s available to you. You can find more freely accessible literature through the Queer Liberation Library, or, if you’re a young person in the US (see the link for age ranges on that), through the Books Unbanned Program.
If there’s anything else you want to share in the way of resources or things you’re reading, feel free to comment on this post - I’m sure others will be happy to see it.
See you again in a month!
Flynn
